veloraOS:~$ privacy
Privacy Policy
VeloraOS Services collects information needed to operate the VeloraOS website, accounts, purchases, support, and beta programme.
What we collect
Newsletter signups store your email address, signup source, technical request metadata such as IP address, and timestamps. Contact and support forms store the details and messages you submit. Customer records include account, subscription, licence, device-activation, and payment-reference information needed to provide access.
Beta programme data
We record the version and time of your beta terms acceptance. Beta reports may include report type, impact, build, host version, hardware description, screenshot link, and the details you choose to provide. Report status and administrator notes are retained so you can follow progress.
Optional diagnostics
Optional diagnostics are controlled separately from beta terms acceptance and are off unless you choose them. You can change this preference from the beta workspace without losing access. Do not submit passwords, licence keys, private files, or unnecessary personal information in feedback.
How we use information
We use information to provide accounts and licences, process and reconcile orders, deliver communications, investigate reports, provide support, protect the service, and improve VeloraOS.
Unsubscribing and choices
You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails using any campaign link or the unsubscribe page. Signed-in customers can change diagnostics preferences and request account deletion from their account workspace.
Storage
Production data is stored in the configured Vercel database and with service providers used for email and payments. Admin access is protected by signed sessions and password hashing. The default operational retention target is 12 months after a record is no longer needed. Some records may be kept longer where required for tax, legal claims, fraud prevention, security, payment disputes, or minimal unsubscribe suppression.
Contact
Questions, access requests, deletion requests, or privacy concerns can be sent to legal@veloraos.co.uk. Formal complaints can be sent to hjs@veloraos.co.uk. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
